At CBM, our clients are our first priority. That is why we offer our services with personalized attention from each member of our team. We offer a full range of quality-driven services to our individual, corporate, not-for-profit and government clients.
Quality control is a continuous process for Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell. Our Principals and staff receive numerous hours of training every year. CBM’s quality control policies and procedures require that all engagements be properly planned, supervised and reviewed. A technical review is performed by our Director of Quality Assurance to ensure that your financial statements conform with generally accepted accounting principles or another accepted comprehensive basis of accounting.
As voluntary members of the PCPS, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Alliance for CPA Firms, we are subject to independent peer reviews as required by the AICPA. This independent review of our firm assures our clients of our commitment to provide quality services. Our peer review reports are available to our clients and prospective clients at all times.
In 2005, the firm underwent its triennial peer review, receiving an unqualified opinion--the highest level that the independent and outside peer review team can render on the firm's accounting and auditing practice. This result reflects the firm’s continued commitment to perform the highest quality accounting and auditing work for its clients. Please click here to view our most recent Peer Review Report.
