Eva came to CBM as an intern in 2015 and now works as a full-time staff auditor. She earned her accounting degree from the National Taiwan University in Taiwan and earned her CPA certification this year.
A lot. There is a great working environment here, and I learn a lot each day. I especially like doing audits.
My first official job was as an accounting intern in Taiwan, and then I worked at KPMG for audit. I came to CBM in 2015 with an internship program through the Washington Center. I began my Master’s program the same year in Illinois. A lot happened in 2015.
I would say to ask a lot of questions and ask the right questions. You will also save a lot of time by figuring out the right person to ask these questions to. It is important to ask a variety of different people.
I play percussion and have joined different concerts and bands. I also like to play badminton, and I watch a lot of movies.
I moved to America from Taiwan by myself when I was about 21. Asian countries can be a lot more pushy and traditional, so in comparison, the workload here in America is not bad.
(I learned all these quotes and mottos in Taiwan but I have to translate it into English) TBD
Dominick is my official mentor here, and he has always helped me. Dan and Gemma have also helped me progress. There was someone in human resources and our old receptionist who both helped me transition to America. I’ve had so many mentors here.
I want to work in the entertainment industry. It was always my dream to work on tax for celebrities.
