Kathleen Booker, CPA

Kathleen Booker, CPA, serves as an audit manager, leveraging her technical accounting expertise to deliver assurance and tax services to not-for-profit organizations. She works closely with board members and executive management to evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls, while identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. She brings a unique entrepreneurial knowledge to financial and operational work, as before joining CBM, Kathleen founded and eventually sold her own apparel company in Los Angeles, California.

Beyond client service, Kathleen plays an active role in advancing CBM’s technical and professional development initiatives. She researches emerging accounting standards and leads internal trainings to keep her colleagues informed and prepared to address complex client needs. Additionally, Kathleen serves on the firm’s SKILLS, Quality Control, and Audit Efficiencies Committees, raising firm standards and implementing improvements for work processes and team members alike.
