The Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) program is sponsored by member firms of NonprofitCPAs, a national association of accounting firms that works with not-for-profit organizations. CNAP is a national training initiative developed to recognize excellence in the nonprofit industry through comprehensive qualifications, trainings, and examinations. CBM – Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell P.C. is the only Washington, DC-area firm eligible to lead the CNAP training.

Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell, P.C. has hosted nearly 20 tax and financial planning seminars for professional service firms and similar institutions throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan region since 2017. Our tax and financial planning experts lead complimentary tax and financial planning seminars at organizations that represent a good match for our level of expertise. We stage 60- to 90-minute educational presentations during lunch or in the evening to share in-depth knowledge related to personal tax planning and financial planning. We schedule each event depending on what is most convenient for each group.
