Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM) received a 2022 Marketing Achievement Award at the annual Association for Accounting Marketing Summit in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday, May 3. The award, presented in the Content and Collateral Marketing category, recognized the firm’s 100th anniversary publication, CBM100-Book, which launched during the firm’s centennial celebration in October 2021.
CBM100-Book was the result of more than two years of commitment and reflects the history of CBM set against the historical backdrop of Washington, DC, national and international events, the accounting profession, the advance of women’s and civil rights, and the development of emerging accounting technologies. The book also features profiles of key leaders at CBM since 1921 and more recent images of CBM team members, including other initiatives associated with the firm’s 100th anniversary.
The team responsible for developing CBM100-Book includes Publisher and Managing Editor Peter B. Reilly, Chief Editor Joe Kovacs, Project Consultant Linda Murphy and Writer Mackenzie Roche. The book was designed and laid out by Rings Leighton Creative Services.
