CNAP is a 2-day training and exam-based certification course that provides bookkeepers, staff accountants and other professionals who manage nonprofit finances an education on budgeting, fund accounting, effective fiscal systems, internal control issues, IRS disclosures requirements and more. The course is led by one of CBM’s experienced not-for-profit managers.
CBM is dedicated to providing professional education for executive leaders of not-for-profit trade/membership associations. The firm was approved in July 2019 to provide credit towards CAE accreditation for association executives seeking to increase their knowledge and expertise in financial management. The Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential is the marker of a committed association professional who has demonstrated a range of knowledge essential to manage an association in today’s professional environment. Credits can be earned by attending select educational seminars hosted by CBM, as marked by the approved CAE logo. Visit our Events page for upcoming events that offer the CAE credential or read CBM’s announcement about being approved as a provider of education-based CAE credit.
