Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM) was recognized for its 100th anniversary by the Montgomery County Council on Thursday, May 26. Dan Weaver, president and managing partner of CBM, and partners Winnie Yang and John Comunale, received a framed proclamation from Council Vice President Evan Glass at a brief ceremony hosted at the Council’s offices in Rockville, Maryland, the seat of Montgomery County.

“CBM is honored to be recognized for this significant milestone,” said Weaver. “We owe a great deal of our success to the Montgomery County community. Our headquarters office is in Bethesda and we have countless clients and team members who are residents throughout the county so while we also operate in other areas, CBM considers this to be home.”

CBM, founded in 1921, organized many 100th anniversary celebrations over the period of more than two years including through community service, the publication of a centennial publication and a celebratory event for several hundred clients and team members at the Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Maryland on October 20, 2021.

Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM) is a professional services firm delivering tax, accounting and business advisory expertise throughout the Mid-Atlantic region from offices in Bethesda, MD and Washington, DC.
