Accounting Standards Update (for the Maryland Association of CPAs Educators Conference)

Senior Adviser Anthony Cuozzo will speak at 9:30 am during the 2019 MACPA Accounting Educators Conference, reviewing FASB Accounting Standards Updates issued in the past several years that have broad applicability to both public and private enterprises, including not-for-profit organizations.

Topics to be covered will include the new revenue recognition standard, the new lease standard, the new contribution revenue and expense standard that was developed as a result of the new revenue recognition standard, and a brief overview of the preparation engagement standard for accountants.
