CBM to Serve as Gold Sponsor of the 2023 DC Academy of Collaborative Professionals Spring Symposium

Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM) will serve as a gold sponsor of the 2023 spring symposium of the DC Academy of Collaborative Professionals (DCACP), an international network of legal, financial and mental health professionals who assist parties facing separation, divorce or other difficult matters in a non-adversarial process. The symposium will be held at the offices of Feldesman, Tucker, Leifer Fidell LLP in Washington, DC on Friday, April 28.

The symposium theme, “The Lost Art of Asking: Finding Out What Matters”, will serve as the basis for developing effective communications and question-asking skills among collaborative divorce professionals to help them better understand priorities of separating individuals during the collaborative process.

Members of CBM’s divorce financial planning team have been active in the DC Academy of Collaborative Professionals for many years. Team members Jane Ochsman Rowny, a partner, director of CBM’s divorce and litigation practice and former DCACP board member, Jamie S. Blum, a senior manager and current DCACP board member, and Abbie Niehoff, a senior divorce financial specialist at CBM, look forward to participating in the 2023 spring symposium.

Visit the DCACP website to learn more about the spring symposium.
