(Virtual) Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) Training

Led by members of Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM)’s experienced not-for-profit team, this two-day educational training is held twice a year to provide rigorous professional development to not-for-profit executives, controllers, staff accountants, consultants and others responsible for oversight of the finances of their employer or client. CPE and CAE credits are available.
The program will be hosted virtually by Director of Not-for-Profit Services Julia Lafferty and Manager of Client Accounting and Advisory Services Jessica Rose on October 18-19, 2022.
Julia and Jessica will discuss the following:
• The basics of not-for-profit organizations
• The nature of not-for-profit accounting
• The role of the board and related committees
• Effective fiscal systems
• Budgeting for not-for-profit organizations.
