As environmental and socially-conscious concerns play an important role in the world, the emergence of sustainable investing continues to become popular. ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investing is based on specific investment choices that reflect each individual’s values and support for companies and institutions deemed environmentally and socially responsible.

Those individuals who have awareness around these issues may have several questions:

• What ESG investment options are available to me?
• How can sustainable investing impact my portfolio?
• What approach should I take to ESG investing?

Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell, a full-service Washington, DC-area accounting and advisory firm, and its financial advisory affiliate, MBI, have scheduled an in-depth presentation around this topic. On Tuesday, March 10, Senior Investment Advisor Alex Seleznev and Senior Financial Advisor Wendy Moyers will provide attendees with an introduction to sustainable investing while answering the above questions as they affect individual investor choices.
