For more than 35 years, Winnie S. Yang, CPA, has supported professional service firms, including law firms, throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. As a partner with Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM), Winnie specializes in helping partnerships, C Corps, S Corps and small businesses with everything from tax planning and preparation to reviews and compilations.

In addition to her proficiency in the for-profit sector, Winnie also uses her expertise to serve individuals with strategic tax planning and estate, gift, and trust taxes. Her knack for organizing technical analysis makes her a sought-after resource when it comes to promptly and accurately solving complex tax and accounting issues. That includes compilation and review services for for-profit entities.

Through her combined experience at CBM and 17 years at Drolet & Associates, PLLC, a DC-based accounting firm that merged into CBM, Winnie’s blend of accounting expertise, reliability and dependability has earned the confidence and trust of those she serves. Winnie loves to stay active outdoors and spend time with her family outside of the office. She is also an avid traveler, experiencing new places and learning about cultures worldwide.
